Communication Officer

Graduated in Communication Sciences (Public Relations and Corporate Communication) from the University of Algarve. Since 2010, collaborates in the Research Center and is responsible for the Communication. Ensures internal and external communication, the organization and dissemination of events (conferences, seminars, short courses and others), the content management of the website and social media, the welcoming of visiting researchers and students, and support for the advanced training. Other functions include support in the preparation of project applications to different funding programs and guarantee support in the secretariat and current management of CinTurs.

Marlene Fernandes

Marlene Fernandes

CinTurs Secretariat

Graduated in Languages and Literature (Portuguese and English), Postgraduate and Master in Production, Communication and Editing Contents by the University of Algarve. Since 2008, collaborates in the Research Center and is responsible for the elaboration of scientific and financing reports to FCT, for the management and updating of contents and its activities on the website and also ensures the production and editing of the research centre scientific publications. Supports the organization of conferences and other events and manages the financial procedures between the UALG services and the research centre, among other information and internal processes.
