On the 11th of December, at 14:30, the University of the Algarve's team responsible for the Observation and Monitoring of the Algarve Tourist Destination: Contributions for its Sustainable Development (MONITUR Project) will present the results of this study to regional stakeholders in support of the activities of the Algarve Sustainable Tourism Observatory. The event will take place in the Auditorium of the Algarve Tourism Region in Faro and will be attended by researchers and lecturers from the University of the Algarve, João Albino Silva, Jorge Andraz, Rui Nunes, Luís Nobre Pereira and Joel Guerreiro. Presentation of the MONITUR Project

CinTurs is organizing the webinar "Towards a paradigm shift in tourism for sustainable development" to be held online on the 30th of November at 18h00 (Lisbon, PT, time). The Guest Speaker is Cecilie Smith-Christensen, founder and lead catalyst at World Heritage Catalysis. Read more.

Internationalization

On the 20th and 21st of November, CinTurs researcher José Santos, from ESGHT UAlg, represented CinTurs at the University of Malaga. Two days of working meetings in Malaga between tourism researchers from both universities to strengthen mutual research collaboration.

iHERITAGE Project

The Portuguese partner of iHERITAGE, funded by the European Union and coordinated by Alexandra Rodrigues Gonçalves, CinTurs researcher, concluded its participation with a press conference in Tavira on 27 November. Read more.
