Secretary of State for Tourism visited UAlg

The Secretary of State for Tourism, Commerce, and Services, Nuno Fazenda, visited, on February 16, the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the University of Algarve (UAlg) and the UAlg Tec Campus. In this session, the coordinator of CinTurs, Patrícia Pinto, presented the Centre's valences, lines of research, results, and some of the projects carried out. Read more

SuSTowns Project in Lagos Municipality

CinTurs research project team presented on March 2 the results and challenges of the European project SusTowns - Enhancing SUStainable tourism attraction in small fascinating med TOWNS Project, in Lagos Municipality. The project is coordinated by Lazio Region Association of Cities and Municipalities, and UAlg is one of the partners. Read more.  

JTSW Call for Papers

‍We invite submissions to the issue “Psychology of Well-Being Applied to Tourism”. This issue aims to study the attitudes and behaviors towards the tourism phenomena, since tourism can affect their lives, positively or negatively. Full articles should be submitted by October 31, 2023. Read more.‍
